We had such a wonderful experience at Kochi Indian Cuisine! The food was absolutely delicious — the Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and flavorful, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The Chicken Biryani was fragrant and cooked to perfection, each bite full of taste and aroma. And the flaky naan was the perfect as well, warm and fresh from the oven. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend this spot for authentic Indian food!

We visited Kochi Indian Cuisine, which we accidentally discovered on our road trip to DC, and absolutely loved the experience! The food was outstanding. I had the prawns curry with rice, and my wife ordered Malabar parota and veg korma. Everything was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. The staff were helpful, courteous, and attentive, making the dining experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine Kerala cuisine

PROs - Kerala cuisine in south NJ, good food , fantastic service CONs - only open on weekends. ?? Well , there are very few Kerala restaurants in central / south NJ and hence finding this place was the best thing for us . Just 15 mins drive and fantastic location in East Windsor. Good parking facilities and there are so many other restaurants near by. We used to drive 45 mins for Kerala food and now it’s near . Great service . Always smiling and very courteous service . Ambience inside was ok , but I wish they make it better to make an essence of Kerala with some good Malayalam music and decors . We ordered a long list of food . Of course we came here for The fish polichatu.. a special dish famous in this restaurant. It was about 28$ though… my friend loved it . Nicely done but we thought it could have more spice and masala . Kerala chicken fry was really good. . Decent quantity . Kerala parota was authentic . I hope it was hand made and not frozen. Tasted good . KOZHI / chicken curry was too good . Perfect taste and spice . Veg Kurma was good . appam / coconut milk was good too.. Mutton biryani was one of its kind .. oh my god . Really good didn’t taste like biryani but the aroma was really good . Idiyappam was average . Because it was dense it was a rough tough to eat . Wish it was more soft .. sakkarai pongal sweet pongal was average too. Ada pradhaman was really good . Overall it was a good experience.. wanted to give 4 stars but gave it a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently celebrated my 50th birthday at Kochi and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we arrived, the Kochi staff went above and beyond to make the evening special. Even a personalized birthday poster and card was made from Kochi team. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our friends who planned the surprise couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything tasted! The food arrangements were equally impressive starting from drinks to appetizers to main course and deserts!! All very elegant, thoughtful, and lined up perfectly without any wait times. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine smiles added so much joy to the occasion. Thank you Kochi (specially to the owner Jebu Mathews who also happens to be from the same city Nagpur that I am from) for making my 50th birthday unforgettable. You weren’t just a venue—you were the heart of the my surprise birthday celebration!! Thank you once again.

Visited this restaurant for lunch today and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was very pleasant, the place was clean, and the server was super attentive—welcoming us right away. All the staff members were extremely friendly and warm. The food was absolutely delicious, with mind-blowing flavors. Every dish we ordered had a unique taste, and honestly, each one became a favorite. We tried the Fish Moilee, Kochi Special Chicken Curry, Malabar Paratha, Appam, Vellayappam, and Ada Payasam—everything was outstanding. It was especially kind of the chef to personally visit our table and check on how the food was, which made the experience even more special. We will definitely be visiting again, as many other dishes on the menu looked amazing and tempting.

My visit to Kochi Indian was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The ambiance is lovely and the food is truly top-tier; the flavors were complex, authentic, and every dish tasted incredibly fresh. The Avial was a genuine standout—creamy, perfectly spiced, and easily the best version I've ever had. What truly elevated the evening was our server, Geeta. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and added a warm, personal touch to the whole dining experience. Geeta was a font of knowledge about the menu and certainly made sure we were aware of all the special, premium offerings, recommending several high-end pairings and upgrades for our meal. We felt very well taken care of. A fantastic experience overall. The team at Kochi clearly prioritizes great food and ensuring guests explore all the excellent options available. We will certainly be back!

What a hidden gem! This Kerala restaurant near home is truly underrated and deserves way more recognition. The food is absolutely delicious—authentic, home-cooked flavors that instantly transport you to Kerala. Every dish ( Fish Moilee, Kerala chicken fry and Kozhi Varatharachatu with Appams and the Ada Payasam) we tried was bursting with taste and made with so much love. What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. The owner personally came over to each table, checking in with every guest to make sure everything was perfect. And to top it off, Chef Matthew himself came out to chat with us—such a warm and thoughtful gesture that shows how much pride they take in their food and service. Great food, great people, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—this place is a must-visit for anyone craving real Keralite cuisine. Don’t sleep on this spot!
